The villas are approximately 119 sq.m in size and has an external area of approximately 260 sq.m of land in theirs ownership. One of the houses is just next to a swimming pool.
This picturesque complex boasts its own restaurant, gymnasium, sauna, indoor and outdoor swimming pool with hot tub and reception building. In addition, each villa has its own car parking space. In a bid to continually enhance the complex, it is understood that the developers are currently planning to build a new purpose built tennis court on the site during summer 2009. Owners of villas also benefit from having access to the facilities and amenities of nearby sister sites owned by the development company.
In the resort centre itself, Pamporovo offers a whole host of trendy bars, restaurants, shops and other facilities catering for the every need of the tourist. The lift connects Pamporovo with the village of Stoikite thus enabling the ski season to be extended by using the wonderful conditions of ski tracks on the northern slopes. This 6 seat lift, called “Pomagalski” is 2992m in length and has a capacity of 2400 people per hour. The addition of this lift now takes the total length of ski tracks in Pamporovo to 25 km.
During the summer months excellent facilities are also available such as horse riding, fishing, guided walking tours and mountain biking as well as the opportunities for independent walking, trekking, mountaineering etc. thus enabling you to benefit from the lovely summer sunshine in your mountain retreat. In addition to this, a new Superhighway is to be opened in 2009 between the nearby Bulgarian town of Rudozem and Xanthi in Greece, thus making it possible to enjoy both an exciting activity break in the mountains whilst being able to be on the Mediterranean coast within about 1.5 hours!! Alternatively during the winter months you could be skiing in the morning and basking in the sunshine by the Mediterranean sea in the afternoon. Where else can you find a holiday home like that!!
The very low cost of living in Bulgaria, being around one third of the cost of other European countries makes it even more credible as a wonderful place for skiing and mountain based holidays. What’s more, the recent introduction of the ‘cheap’ flight operators to Bulgaria now means that flights from UK regional airports are both cheap and plentiful!! The resort developers also offer transfer shuttles both to and from the nearby airports of Sofia and Plovdiv together with services to and from the ski lift stations for a moderate fee.
